Stump Grinding
When old stumps are not removed and they begin to decay, often times they end up housing rodents, bees and become a breeding ground for termites and other insects. Grinding a stump not only prevents these potential hazards, but it also improves the aesthetics of your property and grounds. Jansen Tree Experts grinds the stump to six inches below the existing grade. After fully grinding the stump to below grade, the owner gets to decide whether the wood chips are left in a mound over the stump cavity or if they should be hauled away.
